  The Berkeley Bioeconomy Conference site is the Toll Room at the UCB Alumni House. The Alumni House is located in the heart of Cal’s campus in Berkeley. Parking permits are required for all vehicles parked on campus and may be purchased via Parking and Transportation Services. Public transportation or parking off campus is recommended, specifically the Durant Avenue Parking Facility.  Parking permits are required for all vehicles parked on campus.  Campus departments can make prior arrangements to park next to the Alumni House in the Dwinelle Lot.  Please find below contact information for the Alumni House.

  Accommodations:

   

  The Hotel Shattuck Plaza has graciously agreed to host our attendees at a discounted price.  We recommend attendees book there while space is still available.  Information on the Shattuck Hotel can be found directly below with alternate locations following.

  We have reserved a block of rooms (for a three-night stay) at the Hotel Shattuck Plaza for March 26-28, 2013.  Please make your reservation with the Hotel directly at (510-845-7300) or toll free (866-466-9199) and identify yourself as part of the Sixth Annual Berkeley Bioeconomy Conference.  Alternatively, reservations can be made using this link.  The block of rooms reserved are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so please make your reservation as soon as possible.  Unclaimed rooms will be released after March 12, 2013, and then will be available on a space-available basis.  Please inform the Hotel of how many nights along with the dates that you will be staying if you will not be staying three nights.  The Hotel Shattuck is within walking distance of the U.C. Berkeley Alumni House.
