Hector M. Nuñez

  • Hector M. Nuñez is Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE), Aguascalientes, México. He is an economist and received his MS degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogotá, Colombia, in 2004, and his PhD degree in Applied and Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, in 2012. Hector Nuñez’s research focuses on energy and environmental economics, in particular economic and land use impacts of fuels and bioenergy policies in Brazil, Mexico and the U.S. His research on biofuels/bioenergy has been published in Global Change Biology Bioenergy and Agricultural Economics.
